Day 3 - Welcome Home Greg!

Rearranged this weeks workout schedule last night to make better sense with the trail run we're doing on Sunday, which meant SSS this morning! Phew - hard work! Though it only went for 45mins. I thought the SSS's were supposed to be longer, like 1.5 to 2 hours. Seems a little strange. Also I did it with my heart rate monitor that syncs to my phone, and it told my I spent less calories than yesterday's workout which also seems strange. Then my phone app went and lots all the heart rate info anyway. Grrr!

I took this morning off work so I would be home when Greg got in, then made us both Baked Eggs with Spinach and Feta. Was delicious, though I forgot to take a photo. Definitely something I will make again.

Headed in to work and had a bit of a nightmare day.  Issue after issue, and the release is on tonight so everyone was a little stressed.  And then I realised I had forgotten my lunch.  So annoyed at myself cos I had already put it in a container in the fridge ready to go last night.  Ended up getting a chicken wrap from downstairs.  Not too bad, but not as good as my left overs would have been!

Quite happy with myself though really.  Today could have been a disaster.  I was late having breakfast as I waited for Greg, which meant no mid-morning snack.  Then not bring my lunch meant I could have got anything, but I made the right choice.  And when I got lunch I also bought a banana for later so I would have the right thing to snack on.  Today was definitely harder than others.  Felt really tired, and was tempted.  But I made the right choices - go me!  Highlights that I should definitely stick with my plan in the future though!

Put on a happy face when I got home even though I didn't feel like it and made dinner.  Was quite tasty, though the veal was a little tough.  Would use better quality meat next time, and Greg suggested a cream cheese or something as a spread wouldn't go amiss though would have to cut down on something else.  Also we used mushrooms instead of eggplant.  There was plenty of it too - neither of us could finish it!

And lastly - first weekly weigh in this morning and I'm down 2.9kgs!  Woo hoo!
